Lake Union Wedding: Avery & Cameron

Elegance and simplicity abounded at the beautiful Lake Union Cafe Wedding. The historic and lovely location was warm and inviting and an ideal venue for this classic beauty to have her perfect wedding. Fena flowers provided the gorgeous florals that complimented the environment amazingly. Avery has a charming personality and a sweet silliness that draws people to her. I wish Avery and Cameron a lifetime of love and immense adventures!

Tacoma Waterfront Engagement: Kayla & Brady

Tacoma Waterfront Engagement: Kayla & Brady

I had the pleasure of meeting Kayla as one of the bridesmaids in one of her best friends weddings, that I photographed the summer before. When Brady popped the question, Kayla had already decided who she wanted to hire as her wedding photographer and I was honored. Kayla is such an energetic and joyful soul who giggles and smiles nonstop! Though her and Brady had been a couple for several years, she was so thrilled to marry him and was bubbling with excitement for their engagement session. We met at the Tacoma waterfront and captured some lovely moments of the two of them and moved to a park nearby for a few more photo opps.

Mukilteo Spring Wedding: Kimberly & Michael

Mukilteo Spring Wedding: Kimberly & Michael

Kimberly and Michael both have a servants heart and love for Christ that is evident to all that meet them. I first met Kimberly at the Christian book store when I was getting new bibles with my boys and noticed a sparkling diamond on the ring of the sweet cashier. I normally don't tell people that I'm a wedding photographer unless the opportunity presents itself, but I felt compelled to tell Kimberly and ask if she had a wedding photographer. She proceeded to tell me she didn't and that she was stressing because she and her fiance' were leaving for California in about a week to go back to college. We immediately connected and met a few days later and I was hired. We both felt that is was a God moment that we met and were so excited to work together for her wedding in just over 6 months. In discussion, we realized that Michael and his family were from the same hometown, in another state, as where my husband and I met when we were in high school! Crazy coincidence? When the wedding day arrived, it was very personalized and took place at Kimberly's home church, surrounded by their closest family and friends! Emotions were overflowing and it was such a beautiful and precious ceremony as these two committed to being husband and wife! After several hours of fun and festivities, Kimberly and Michael and my husband and I went to Mukilteo Lighthouse State Park to capture some beautiful moments of just the two of them, as husband and wife! Shortly after their marriage they moved across the country to work together serving the Lord. We are blessed to have shared a moment in time with these two incredible people and wish them a lifetime of love!

Mukilteo Engagement Session: Megan & Colin

Mukilteo Engagement Session: Megan & Colin

The setting sun made for a beautiful glow on this sweet and silly couple for their engagement session at Mukilteo Lighthouse State Park. The crowds were lingering, also enjoying the sights, but we were able to find pockets where it felt like just the two of them were there. They strolled along the beach, snuggled in the sun and embraced in the solitude by the lighthouse.

Leavenworth Winter Wonderland Wedding: Katherine & Jayson

Leavenworth Winter Wonderland Wedding: Katherine & Jayson

You will not believe it when I tell you that this gorgeous winter wedding was planned in 3 weeks! Yes, just 3 weeks! Katherine works in the wine industry and knew that winter would be the least busy time of year for her to focus on her wedding! She saw the beautiful snowy setting at Mountain Springs Lodge, in Leavenworth, and made up her mind to schedule it immediately. Her dress, fur coat, florals and everyone's attire was so elegant and festive! They took a horse drawn sleigh as their getaway after the ceremony and then allowed their guest to take rides during the cocktail hour so everyone could experience the fun. Katherine and Jayson allotted for extra time to take photos as husband and wife, because with such quick wedding planning, we never had a chance for an engagement session. This day was filled with laughter, love and moments to be cherished for life!

Thornewood Castle Wedding: Naomi & Aiden

The elegant and historic Thornewood Castle screams elegance, romance and beauty! Naomi & Aiden looked stunning and the elements of their special day could not have been more gorgeous! I was so excited to meet a couple that loves Leavenworth, and their dog, as much a my family and I do! The day of their engagement session was so gorgeous as we walked the property of Mountain Springs Lodge, in the snow, under bluebird skies! There was laughter and smiles and snuggles between these two. I couldn't have asked for an easier couple to work with and spend time with, playing in the snow and getting to know them! Their wedding in the fall should be just as amazing!

Michelle and Garrett have hearts of gold and a love for the Lord that overflows! They are sweet and fun loving and have great plans for their future together! They had a beautiful winter wedding, at Lord Hill Farms, in Snohomish, complete with wintergreen florals, icy blue decor and were surrounded by their loving family and friends! Their day was so special and their ceremony included singing worship songs, taking communion and professing their love for each other and Christ. The twinkling Christmas lights at the venue also allowed for some gorgeous off camera flash photos with stunning bokeh, to commemorate their amazing adventure that has begun.

Farmhouse Engagement Session: Allix & Michael

Farmhouse Engagement Session: Allix & Michael

Allix & Michael are sweet and fun loving and have an adorable little farm house they will be moving into after the wedding with their dogs, adjacent to some cute cows. They knew the property, which they were fixing up, would be a wonderful place to document this new transition in their life. The smiles came easy, the setting was lovely, and these two had me super excited to capture their upcoming wedding!

Romantic Leavenworth Wedding, Mountain Springs Lodge: Athena & Matt

Romantic Leavenworth Wedding, Mountain Springs Lodge: Athena & Matt

Long distance wedding planning can be stressful for some, but Athena handled it like a champ! We "met" over the phone and email while she was living in Louisiana at the time and they were experiencing flooding and power outages and Matt was deployed in Guam. She was calm and cool and an absolute sweetheart! I couldn't wait to meet her and Matt in person. Matt is a pilot in the Air Force and they both have friends and family from all over the country. Because we unable to do an engagement session, they allowed plenty of time on their wedding day to capture some gorgeous moments together! Athena was absolutely radiant and the love these two share was evident to all in attendance. The night was filled with good food, good fun and lots of dancing! The glowing lodge made for a perfect backdrop for one last off camera flash night photo to end an amazing day!

Two kind souls, with such gentle dispositions, were married on a fall day, with absolutely amazing weather. Shades of lavender and silver were such a stunning look, for not only the flowers, but the bridesmaid dresses and gentlemen's attire. The sun was at the perfect height in the sky and the bride and groom photos turned out sooo beautifully! Tracy and Paul are easy going, fun loving and were such a joy to work with. They were more than thrilled to end the night with a dramatic off camera flash photo, on the non-operating railroad tracks, doing a dip they had perfected that oozed romance!

Port Orchard Country Club Wedding: Angela & Eric

Port Orchard Country Club Wedding: Angela & Eric

Love, romance and personal touches were a huge part of  Angela and Eric's wedding day celebration! Their wedding was at the Trophy Lake Golf & Casting Club, in Port Orchard, and after getting ready in his and her suites, we took golf carts to a bridge on the property, so they could have an intimate first look, filled with tears, laughter and kisses! Angela's brothers made the arch which her and Eric were married under, and their friends and family had a huge part in creating such a precious day! The ceremony site, next to a pond and waterfall, surrounded with gorgeous flowers, rich evergreens and bluebird skies, was not to be outdone by their heartfelt vows! The entire day, and Angela, was stunning and the reception did not disappoint either. Eric brought his guitar and sang Angela's favorite song to her, with a personalized verse he added just for her. There was not a dry eye in the room. The beauty of the venue allowed for some incredible off camera flash photos, to really make the elements they loved so much sparkle as much as they did!

Beautiful Beachside Wedding: Brittany & Taylor

Beautiful Beachside Wedding: Brittany & Taylor

Brittany & Taylor chose to share their vows with their family and friends at the gorgeous Edgewater House, near Gig Harbor, in the Puget Sound. The Edgewater House provided a very intimate and romantic setting which paired beautifully with the rich red and cool blue color palette. These two are seriously head over heels for each other and full of smiles and giggles whenever they are together. Their first look on the beach was truly magical, as were the photos of them as bride and groom! The wedding party was full of fun and good times and the entire day was such a celebration! The end of the night was topped off with a firework display over the water while everyone cooled off from dancing their socks off.

Snohomish Garden Wedding: Caitie & Stephen

Snohomish Garden Wedding: Caitie & Stephen

Caitie and Stephen shared a heartfelt day filled with the love of Christ and the love they had for one another! Maroni Meadows, in Snohomish, was a perfectly peaceful setting for their sweet and sentimental ceremony. This ceremony included the bride and groom, wedding party and wedding guests, singing two worship songs which set the tone for this God Blessed Union. The coral and blue color theme, with a country accent, were so beautiful and Caitie looked absolutely stunning!

Yacht Club Wedding: Amanda & Caleb

Yacht Club Wedding: Amanda & Caleb

Amanda had planned out every detail of her wedding day and really thought about how to make the day unique. She chose a stunning ombre coral color scheme that was so amazing, especially seeing all the gals lined up in their coordinated dresses. Amanda & Caleb were married at the Everett Yacht Club and after a sweet first look on the dock, they took a boat ride with their wedding party before the ceremony. While the guests were waiting for the ceremony to start, the wedding party waved hello from the water. Amanda's beloved pug, Diego, played an important role in the wedding as a sidekick to the ring bearer while strutting down the isle to the theme song from "Men in Black". Super cute for sure! There were many personalized moments gifted to the newlyweds from family in the way of performances and toasts. Though the day was mostly overcast and rainy, the clouds parted just a bit in the evening and we were able to capture a few sunset photos for these lovebirds. As if their wedding day wasn't enough fun, their honeymoon was spent backpacking through Europe! Totally cool and adventurous for this fun loving couple!

Olympia Country Club Wedding: Jessica & Emmanuel

Olympia Country Club Wedding: Jessica & Emmanuel

These two are absolutely so fun to be around and Emmanuel has a very contagious laugh and superb smile. When I first met with Jessica for her wedding consultation, I immediately adored her and was so excited to work with her and her fiancé. For their engagement session, we met at Magnuson Park and that was when I was first introduced to Emmanuel and was witness to how much they love each other.

On their wedding day, we had the pleasure of such a lovely venue in Indian Summer County Club, to capture some stunning photos. Jessica and Emmanuel were so wonderful to work with and during the ceremony vows, Emmanuel had us all in tears! The entire day was filled with love and kindness from everyone who shared about the newlyweds and how precious they are. Emmanuel's sweet mom shared about how she prayed for them both and that God was instrumental in bringing them together. She also told about how Emmanuel earned the nickname "Cookie", when he was just a boy, during her heartwarming toast---see the video at the end of this post. It truly was an amazing day and such a blessing to be a part of their lives! Congratulations and God Bless you both!
