I love when past bridesmaids, and groomsmen, from weddings I've done, become my new brides and grooms! Kelsey and Kyle are kind, fun loving and going to have an amazing wedding in July at Laurel Creek Manor, in Sumner, WA. For their engagement session, they wanted some iconic Seattle feel, with a bit of gorgeous fall color! Kerry Park was perfect for the iconic setting, however, it happened that the Saturday we were there, was the first dry Saturday in weeks, it was homecoming weekend for many schools nearby and their was a wedding taking place! That's Kerry Park for you though; I told them ahead of time that it is almost always crowded and we would do our best to make it look like they were the only ones around! After getting some key images with the Space needle and city in the background, we headed for a walk to find some beautiful streets with fall foliage. As it was getting cooler, Kelsey pulled out an adorable quilt with special significance to her. The quilt, made by her grandmother, belonged to her grandfather, whom had since passed away. I love that her memory of her grandfather was so important to her, that his quilt was part of her engagement session!
