Suzanne and Andreas celebrated their wedding day surrounded by close friends and family and thanking God for the gift of their marriage. They incorporated elements of their family and their heritage into their special day. Suzanne made an amazing bouquet of broaches that belonged to her grandmas, and aunts. Because Andreas is from Mexico, they decided on a rainbow of colors in a fiesta theme, rather than one single color for their wedding. The bridesmaids wore an array of red, yellow, green, and purplish blue and the groomsmen wore coordinating flowers on their tuxes. The ceremony was performed in English and Spanish, by Suzanne's uncle, who is pastor and amazing, heartwarming man. Suzanne is a music teacher and a friend of hers played piano and sang a song (written by Suzanne when she first started falling in love with Andreas). The reception was decorated in a fiesta theme and they had a cake that resembled a little Mexican girl's embroidered party dress! It was a beautiful day and the love these two have for one another shined and shined.
